Tribal Kutch Anklets
These extremely heavy anklets originated in the Kutch region of Gujarat and date to the early part of the 20th century or earlier. Simple and plain in design except for minimal decoration at the back, they are almost a perfect match.
Silver content unknown. They are completely rigid in design and do not open. They are worn by slipping over the foot sideways.
Measurements: outside length 12.5 cm. Inside length 9.5 cm. Width 1.8 cm. Weight of each anklet 605g an d 655g respectively
