Afghani Antique Silver Tribal Amulet
High grade, heavy silver amulet with fused ends, mid 19th century, from Afghanistan. It features  several varieties of decoration including wrapped and twisted wire and panels of plain and decorative silver. The dangles are original to the amulet and mirror the end cap decoration of heavy silver balls. An original tribal piece collected in Afghanistan by my father in the 1980’s.
Measurements: length 8.5 cm, diameter 1.5 cm, height including dangles 5.2 cm, weight 44.9 g
